Visiting the Lu minority people The who have engaged in farming for a long time. They know how to plough and harrow the fields, dig canals for irrigation, sow rice seeds and transplant rice, but do not weed and apply fertilizers. Also enjoy beautiful landscape and scenery along the way.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Sapa – Tam Duong – Ban Hon
Met up at your hotel in Sapa by Lotussia Travel local guide and driver then transferred to Tam Duong. Stop at Tram Ton to enjoy the stunning views over the valley. From there, we will then drive downhill on the zigzag mountain paved road to Tam Duong. Upon arrival in Tam Duong, we start our walk through tea fields, limestone and several villages of Flower Hmong and Giay minorities. Your lunch will be provided in local house. After lunch, we will continue our walk to Ban Giang village, which is around 1.5 hours away. The Giay people also inhabit in Ban Giang. We will then take a smaller trail to reach Hon village which inhabited by Lu people. Dinner and overnight in the village.
Day 2: Ban Hon – Binh Lu – Sapa
After breakfast, we say good bye to our hospitable host then continue our walk. We will pass through some more ethnic villages such Giay and Lu. The landscape along the road is also wild and magnificent. Your lunch will be provided at a beautiful spot next to a small river. Our vehicle will be waiting for us at Binh Lu for transfer us back to Sapa. Have a short break by the Silver water fall if time permitting. End tour.
