Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival (D)
Arrive at Tan Son Nhat Airport. Pick up and transfer to a hotel. An afternoon tour round Ho Chi Minh City, formerly called Saigon, features the History Museum, the Binh Tay Market in Chinatown, Thien Hau Temple and a lacquer workshop. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City- Da Lat (B, L, D)
Take the daily flight to Da Lat. In the afternoon, transfer to Pongua Waterfall which is considered as Vietnam’s grandest waterfall. Walk along the narrow road under the shade of huge trees filled with the beautiful sounds of water, birds and breeze. You will catch the panoramic view of the 3-step waterfall from the bottom of its, climbing up to have great photos or just sitting on one of the biggest stones here.
Day 3: Da Lat – Pinhatt Mountain (B, L, D)
This two day trip starts to the South of Da Lat City. We drive along picturesque scenic roads to the Pinhatt Mountain Trailhead, where we start our journey. The first section of trail is through minority farms and pine forest. Don’t be alarmed if you meet an elephant along the way. They live at the lake and are tame. We continue to walk through forest paths until we meet the base of Pinhatt then a steep uphill climb (45 minutes) to the summit of Pinhatt. After lunch and a rest on the mountain-top, we descend and you will notice a very dramatic difference in the flora and fauna. You will emerge on the other side, at a campsite where you can relax or take a swim until dinner.
Day 4: Jungle trek (B, L, D)
We start our walk through pine forest. Soon you will notice the dramatic change in scenery from pine to thick jungle. Walk the rolling hills among the vines, broad-leaf trees, and enjoy the cool jungle breeze. Upon exiting the thick jungle section, you will walk between Elephant Mountain and another area peak. Enjoy seeing the small minority farms that dot the valley floor. After lunch and a rest you continue walking through the valley until you come to a ridgeline, which you follow to the famous chicken village, aptly named due to the large chicken statue in the center of the township. The women of this minority village are famous for weaving fabric in bright and interesting designs. Return to Da Lat.
Day 5: Da Lat – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L, D)
Take a half day city tour including the valley of Love where the picturesque landscape formed by a calm surfaced lake, green hills, colorful flower gardens and roads around the lake dotted with glass beds and bushes. Onward to City’s Flower Garden, Biological museum and the central Market. Return to Ho Chi Minh city- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 6: Departure (B)
Free at leisure before check out. Half day city tour in case of late departure. Transfer to the airport for departure.
